Come along with Newport Tree Conservancy to Salve Regina University, home to many noble and glorious specimen trees and shrubs.

The university campus, which abuts the beautiful Cliff Walk, is accredited as a Level 2 Arboretum. The collection includes many stately evergreens, several varieties of European beech, beautiful flowering trees, and a mix of interesting shrubbery. Living Collections Manager Joe Verstandig will focus the discussion on flowering trees and shrubs, updates on multiple pest issues, and summer pruning.
